Welcome to my Substack!
I find social media incredibly… boring. Predictable. Political. Watered down by frustrating algorithms. I’m only on Facebook and Instagram now, but I’d love to bring that group over here where we don’t get lost in the shuffle.
Where there’s space to breathe.
I considered Patreon. And a dozen others. But the atmosphere felt stiff. Tense. You can’t really navigate it without a credit card. None of my favorite authors had fun content I could just relax and enjoy. The pressure for me to produce and the pressure for you to pay overrides the point: let’s get to know each other and have a good time.
If you think my work is something worth supporting later, you can do a paid Subscription anytime and I’ll be grateful forever. Sure, I need to pay the bills like everybody else. I’ll probably gift you a book or two once I set a paywall up.
But most importantly, I’m using Substack as a place for our community to thrive, interact, read, and be delighted on the regular.
Every post will be free for the first quarter of 2026 but only the regular monthly newsletter will go out to your inbox. AKA: NO SPAM ALLOWED. Instead, you are welcome to visit me here and help yourself to all the content I’m posting.
